Can I straighten my hair everyday?

Question

I have an ion science hair straighter from Sally's and it works well. I also got a thermal protectent for my hair. But I dye my hair, will it damage my hair. I do use a deep conditioner about every few days.

you cant do it everyday cause that will kill it.. keep doing what your your doing cause it will make a difference, just dont straighten it when you dont need too.

any type of heat appliance  for your hair could damage it, BUT it sounds like you are protecting it the best way possible. Keep using the protectant, and your conditioner and you should be set. The color in your hair will not affect it to get  burnt easier.

i got highlights and i straighten everyday.

nothing happens. it's perfectly fine.

but if you're going to do it everyday....prepare for split ends. lol

If you use product, I do not think it is necessary to straighten your hair EVERYDAY... you do not have to wash your hair everyday either. I think once to wash and dry your hair you can straighten it, just be sure to use product so it does not burn your hair.

even if you have a good iron and a thermal protectant, you sill shouldn't straighten everyday. it will damage your hair severely over time. instead of doing it everyday, straighten three times a week at the most:)

I really wouldn't straighten hair everyday. In the long run, it'll get pretty damaged & weak. If I were you, i would only try to use it once or twice a week. Or every time i wash my hair
