Can I study French and Spanish to a level standard in one year in France?

I'd like to study French & Spanish at degree level but need an a level in both subjects first. If I study 3 languages (one at beginner level) I don't need to do the access course as this is just for the part of the course that's taught in English.

  1. the easiest way to learn a language is to spend time in an area where that is the main language spoken, and don't spend too much time with English speakers.

  2. Michel Thomas method. No doubt about it.

You will be fluent in 12 hours.

I have been using Michel's French course and had a little GCSE knowledge before hand. Each CD is around an hour long and I am currently on the 6th and have had two average and easy conversations with French people so far.

I am only half way through.

Don't just buy a portion of the set, buy the whole lot because it will work out cheaper and once you have reached the end of one portion youll instantly want to go onto the next.
