I'm just thinking of going to university in either Sweden in Norway, but although they offer programs in English, would it be bearable to live there without knowing the language? And are they hard to learn?

  1. By being completely immersed in another language/culture you will most likely find yourself picking up the language very quickly.

  2. it's fine if u don't know their language, since people usually speak very good english there. the environment will make u start to pick up and learn their language naturally though. i don't think it's that hard to learn. swedish is my third language and English is my second, and i find swedish easier
