Either directly or through the grey market?

Please, answer only if you know what you're talking about. I too can guess...

  1. The satellite signals do not reach that area. They are in geosynchronus orbit over North America so only work in Canada, US and parts of Mexico and the Caribbean.

They do both offer online subscriptions though.

  2. XM And Sirius won't work in South America, only in the US and Canada. However, you can listen to 20 XM satellite radio channels on AOL Radio

here In Barranquilla, Venezuela I have 3bars of signal , i am using it in the car and in some places where its clear i can listen the most part of the time, in the morning and some times of the night i have the three bars but not listen.

When i go in the roads from one city to other i can listen 99% of the time,

  4. Yes, but you will only be able to listen online.  The satellite signal is only in North America right now.
