I have a computer that takes PC2700 DDR ram. And I need to get more. The best I can find for 1024 MB is an off brand for $49 USD

I found a deal on 1024 MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz Crucial ram for $12 bucks! But will it work?

It wont even fit in the slot. DDR and DDR2 are different. The newer ones are cheaper.
