Can I succesfully breed different trpes of mollies together?

And if i can, would they look ugly i.e would the hybrids come out ok?

  1. You can breed Different Mollies together. They wouldn't be hybrids, because they are the same type of fish. They would have the Molly shape, with some kind of variation of both parents, although it is possible for them to come out looking like 1 parent, and having a recessive gene from the other, that could show up in its fry. If you breed a Mollie with a Platy or a Swordtail, then you would have a hybrid.


  2. I think it's possible to breed different mollies together and the hybrid won't come out ugly just colored strange
