  1. definitely because you got hurt. there was no warning sign and the restaurant workers should have taken care of it asap.

  2. Perhaps. You would have to show negligence. Although you may be able to get them to pay for your medical bills, without showing negligence (that they knew there was a hazard and did not respond promptly) you probably won't get more than that.

Also, they could counter that you are responsible if:

    You were wearing heels

You were under the influence of alcohol or drugs

You were not using due diligence.

  3. NO, BECAUSE IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO WEAR SHOES KNOWING THAT THERE MAY BE SOMETHING ON THE FLOOR..NO SHOES ,NO SHIRT, NO SERVICE, STILL APPLIES.......IF YOU EAT A FISH THAT IS SOLD AS BONELESS, THERE ARE NO GUARENTEES THAT ALL THE BONES WERE COMPLETELY REMOVED..SORRY

  4. yes because there was no warning sign and thats dangerous so they should pay for your medical bills

  5. Yeah you should totally sue them for that. They should be more careful because other people can get hurt too. And you can sue someone for just about anything anyway.

  6. Well, I'm not 100% sure since it's in Canada, but I would think so.  They are supposed to have dangerous, hazardous areas marked off, and areas like that, should have been blocked off and people should have been working on cleaning it up.

  7. Why would you sue them? This is crazy! They didn't mean to attack you with the glass on the floor - you and they had an accident.

You want to get some poor busboy fired, put a few more grand into the pockets of some scheister lawyer and get some free money.

Where's the forgiveness and understanding in that?  We're all people here, and accidents will happen.  Get over it.  You'll feel better when you start thinking charitably.

  8. They should pay your hospital bill. But you weren't wearing shoes? That is your fault, not there's. You're lucky they didn't kick you out for no shoes. That's disguisting in a restaurant!

  9. Restaurants alway have insurance for this sort of negligence. You not only can have them pay your medical bills, but can sue for pain and  suffering.
