  1. Probably not, it is likely that when you enrolled you gave the school permission to use your image or name without explicit permission.

  2. It depends on what you mean by "my picture." If you mean "a picture of me" then there are privacy rights that further depend upon where the picture was taken and whether the school has implied or express rights to use your image.

If you mean "a picture BY me", then you own the copyright (assuming you aren't employed by the school to take pictures), and may have certain rights, and may be able to negotiate a settlement rather than trying to sue anyone.

  3. Nope. (Well, technically, yes, you can sue anyone for anything - but you have no case and can't win)

The copyright to a photograph belongs - except in special circumstances - to the photographer, and he can post it where he wants.

  4. Yes you can. Its illegal.

  5. If it is not a secondary school (college) no, probably not. If you are a minor, most schools in the US have parents sign waivers (along with all the other c**p) that states that your likeness may be used.

  6. Yes, it's called misappropriating your likeness without consent.  You can sue, and probably win, but what new school would you attend?

  7. Yes! That's what I would do. If you didn't give them your permission, then they didn't have the right to put it on
