Can I sue my sister for vandalism?

Ok, so a few years ago my sister and I got this puzzle thing for Christmas. It wasn't flat though, it was a sphere. I thought it was really cool and so did my sister but she was too lazy to do with it me. It was a lot of work so I didn't want to do it alone so I didn't do it. About a year later I was really bored so I went digging through my closet for something to do and I found the puzzle. I asked my sister to do it with me and she said no so I decided to do it by myself. I worked for like six hours on it not including the break I took for dinner. When I finally finished it looked like Josephine's Wall and I was really happy that I finished it. Now fast forward to today. I was in my sister's room and I guess I was really annoying her. We were joking around and she kept saying she was gonna kill me and stuff. I went in my room and got a baseball bat and (still joking) started threatening her with it. Well she is like three times my size so she stole the bat from me and chased me into my room with it.She saw the puzzle sitting on my desk and threatened to destroy it. I still thought we were joking around and told her I would sue her if she did because I didn't think she would hurt me or the puzzle with the bat. Then she threw the puzzle at me but I caught it unharmed. I put it on the floor thinking she was done but she wasn't. She then came over to me holding the bat up and I ran to the corner and sat down facing the wall protecting the puzzle and more importantly, my face. She the swung the bat at me three times and i blocked it with my foot. She then said she was going to start swinging frantically and randomly and a lot harder. But she also said she would stop i she hit the puzzle and I should just let her destroy the puzzle so she didn't hit me. Now at this point I still didn't think she was going to actually destroy the puzzle so I rolled it out in front of me and she immeadietly started smashing it and then she picked it up and broke the rest of it apart. She then ran away and my dad stopped me before I could hurt her and then he went to bed so I couldn't tell him what happened. So she wasn't joking about destroying it so I really want to sue her know even if it means destroying the family. So what I want to know is if it is worth sueing and if I have a case. Please respond and help me.

  1. No No No 4give 4get

  2. Whaaaaaaaaaat? Breaking a puzzle isn't really a case to sue over... That's incredibly ridiculous. Talk to your parents about it and work it out with your sister. There's no point in suing over something so trivial, even if the puzzle did mean a lot to you, you can always put it back together again. People really sue over the most ridiculous things, like that idiot lady who sued McDonalds for her coffee being hot. Obviously! Just work it out with her, you're not going to get anything by suing her, because no one would take you seriously with this "case."

  3. HAHAHAHA um no. I don't think you should cuz its well stupid!!!!!! But go ahead if you want, I'm pretty sure you're sister won't mind cuz she is probably like 15 and you're not that old either (from the sound of your post) so you won't win, and you should just get over it. Thats my opinion.
