I live in Las Vegas and I was involved in a car accident in November. There were 6 cars involved and this process is being UNUSUALLY long. It is impossible to get in contact with one of the claimants so we can not settle for our car damages. Can I sue the individuals that were held respoinsible for the car accident?

  1. Yes, but if they do indeed have insurance his/her company will defend them in court -- with a lawyer.

  2. well the insurance is 4 that reason u actually suit this persons insurance but not the individual.... because that is why we got insurance to cover our mistakes for us........

  3. YES u can sue anyone for anything if you have enough money to buy a lawyer. If not then it will depend if the lawyer thinks there is a good chance to win the case with enough money in it for their trouble if they do win.

  4. Girl, this is AMERICA where you can sue someone for anything. And there are a zillion lawyers that will defend your right to do it.

A site I've recommended in the past would be...

    http://insurance.deal4-you.com

    Hope that helps.

  5. You can sue anyone, anytime for any reason.  If you have auto insurance, they are the people you should be prodding into action though.  Protection  is what I buy insurance for and I expect to get protection from them.  If I don't, I will hire my own lawyer and find another insurance company

  6. Yes, although I'm not  lawyer.  I would call a couple of your local sharks (lawyers) and verify.  t

They will consult with you for free to let you know whether you have a case.

  7. If it's in America, probably. Just make sure the jury likes it :P

But seriously, I would personally arrange a meeting with a lawyer and see what he/she can do. That is the only way you could get accurate information specifically pertaining to your state. I'm almost positive that it can be done, you just need to execute it well.
