Can I super glue a tooth back in or is it better to go without?

Long story short I got jumped last night and the lousy m**o kicked me in the face while I was down. One of my teeth got kicked out but only half of it broke off. I have the other half. I don't have insurance and can't really afford a doctor bill right now. Will super glue poison me or anything? Will this even work? I'd rather not have a missing tooth.

  1. Try to get to a dentist and get it fixed.  Maybe work out a payment plan.  If you don't take care of it you will loose the whole tooth.  Put  the broken part in a glass of milk.  This is suppose to perseve the tooth.  But call a dentist right away.

  2. i have... no idea

  3. I have dental implants and can you see my avatar? That is my new smile. Before I got my permanent teeth I had temporary's. I bit down one day on a hard protein bar and one of the front teeth popped off. My dentist whose office is 500 miles away from me told me on the phone I could super glue that tooth back on. I thought I will glue my lip to my teeth and that scared me silly. Instead I went to another dentist who actually glued it back in with a stuff that smelled exactly like artificial finger nail glue. I mentioned this to the dentist and he said yes it is the same product but that the kind he was using is sterilized. So in a sense you could use super glue but my teeth are artificial and yours is natural. What if you glue this tooth on and damage your tooth so bad that you could never get a cap but only get it pulled. Do you want to chance that? You would be better to see if you can set up a payment plan with your dentist to see if your dentist can repair your tooth correctly.

  4. Yah im pretty sure thats a BAD idea. You could end up doing a lot more damage

  5. don't use glue. save up your money. until you can afford a dentist to look at it and fix it.

  6. DONT PUT SUPER GLUE IN YOUR MOUTH. PERIOD.

if it doesnt harm you, the tooth will just keep breaking off there is too much moisture in your mouth.
