Can I swim everyday and lift weights every other day?

Im trying to get ready for football and i want to know if i can swim everyday but lift weights every other day.

  2. You can swim everyday, or do some kind of cardio, running, biking what ever you like. You should only lift every other day. You need to give your muscles time to rest and grow, most trainers say 24-48 hours between strengh training days.

  5. Ok i've had this question before to what you want to do is swim as many laps as you can the days you dont lift and on the days you lift set a limit of laps then you lift weights but you need to eat somethin like power bars or drink protein shakes to get the most of your body.

  7. yup. no problem. i have been doing that. you can even swim and  do workout after that ASAP...
