Can I take Dramamine and Ativan at the same time?

There have been cases of marked sedation when lorazepam was given to patients taking the tranquilizer loxapine (Loxitane); it is unclear if there is a drug interaction, but caution should be used if lorazepam and loxapine are used together.

Both have sedative effects so safety says no. However, since it is 8/8/08 Gonzo wisdom says take them together with a 30mg Adderall XR and feel lucky tonight!! NOTE- this is not recommended for most non-freaks who lack mileage mixing uppers and downers.

P.S.-Xanax at 2mg is a great sub for the Ativan. Be aware you will need help being "poured in and out" of the car however.
