Can I take Tums everyday?

Question

I don't take more then 2 tums a day,but I was just wondering if it's ok to take everyday.At my last appt. I forget to ask my dr.

Yep- but give Zantac a try, too-- it worked great for me.

Yes, it is. And next time you buy, make sure to get the ones with extra calcium, it's good for you. I couldn't take calcium supplements, so my OB recommended I take tums with calcium as often as I wanted, everyday.

its perfectly fine to take tums while you are pregnant my doctor has me taking them because i have avid reflux and have been having serious  problems keeping foods down i do know that the extra calcium is really great for you.
