My LMP was 7/24-7/28 but then on 7/31 I felt very strong ovulation pains accompanied by EWCM... anyhow after hubby and I BD'd it's now been five days since ovulation and intercourse... I have no idea when I will get next AF because I ovulated really early this cycle.

When is the earliest possible I can test.

PLEASE DON'T SAY WHEN I MISS MY AF...I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THAT IS!

  1. I ovulated on 7/29 and got a BFP today!! So maybe a test in the morning will work for you, good luck and baby dust~!

  2. You can certainly take a hpt, but I think it would probably be too soon.  You should wait until 10 dpo or more.  It might be more accurate then.

  3. Once you ovulate, your period is guaranteed about 2 weeks after.  Anywhere from 10-14 days, depending on your pattern.  Anyway, If you O'd around 07/31, you should hold off on testing for another week.

    Good luck!

  4. it's too early hun, the egg might just be embedding itself at this time. i'm in the same boat as you too! so, i would test starting in about 4 more days. good luck and i will sprinkle baby dust your way! :)

  5. 6dpo is WAY too early. If your cycle is irregular plan for 14dpo. Good Luck!

  6. around 14 to 16 dpo

  7. I'm no expert but its likely that you'll get a BFN if you take a hpt now. Since you ovulated on 7/31 and possibly conceived shortly thereafter you can wait about 12 to 14 days after BD and you'd have a better chance of getting that BFP if you are indeed pg.

  8. You should wait at least 10 days for the 'early' tests. At 6 days you will probably get a negative no matter what.
