I need to bring my scooter to England from Ireland. What's the best way?

  1. I would think get someone to ship you scooter over for you.  It's a 300 mile drive from Holyhead to London - which doesn't seem smart on a scooter


  2. I agree with the above,

    by the time you factor in the cost of the scooter on the boat: www.irishferries.com or www.stenaline.co.uk, petrol, and time driving from north wales to london I'd imagine a shipping/courier firm would be cheaper and much quicker.

    if you try to find a local firm wherever your bike is in Ireland they might let you know if they're planning a trip to London anyway and allow you to share the costs.

  3. Put a few ads in a local paper and surely someone will be travelling in a half empty van which you could put the scooter on.
