  1. you sure can.

you can take a lighter, just declare it at the scanning baggage place and put in a see through bag

  2. yes

  3. not sure about uk internal flights, but folk buy cigs at duty free after they have checked in their luggage, so usually carry cartons of them in the carrier bag given at the shop.if you then choose to put them in the hand luggage i can't see it makes any difference.

Funny you should say about the lighter, cuz they take them off you when you go through security but you can buy them in the shop after that anyway. Never really understood that.

  4. Nae problems takin' yer ciggies on tae the plane. Enjoy yer trip tae Bonnie Scotland!!!

  5. yh ofcourse just not a lighter

  6. dont take peanut butter i did

  7. Yes thats fine

  8. no problem. don't light up in flight. they will fine you.

  9. They allow one full box per person, if you are traveling with a non-smoker, you can buy 2 but he has to carry it in case they do a check.

  10. yes you can take cigarettes on as hand luggage and YOU can take a lighter on whit you

  11. Of course you can. Others have answered correctly about duty free shops, etc. The reason you cannot bring your own lighter is that it may contain fluid/substance that could be quickly made into a incendiary/explosive device. The ones you can buy after going through security have been inspected for safety compliance (hopefully).
