Can I take diet pills on a plane with no trouble, or should I sneak them through?

They're in an icebreakers tin XD

I know how this sounds but I'm going to be abroad for a month WITH A GROUP so I won't be able to buy any over there.

and I know it's a risk to sneak things through but I will if I can't take them on the plane with me and not have them confiscated...

I wouldb't put them on carry on just put them w/ the rest of your luggage

Unless they are prescribed by a doctor and a valid prescription you can really get into big trouble.  Everything is checked. Your group will have go ahead without you because you won't be allowed to leave the country and possibly be arrested.  I don't think you have a solution except to mail them ahead to your destination.
