Can I take dry cat food in my hold luggage?

I would like to take some dry cat food with me when I return to Turkey from the U.K. as the prices were much cheaper for my kitten. Are these products classed as food and not allowed to be taken outside the U.K. thanks for any information

You should be fine if its a dried food. Just to be safe, always declare food items to customs so the final descision is theirs.
