Can I take methylprednisolone with flagyl/metronidazle?

Ive been taking methyl. for tonsilitis which is a steroid...and now I was just prescribed flagyl (antibiotic)for a bacterial infection, is it ok to take them together?

It should not be a problem but both medications are notorious for causing stomach problems, such as gastritis, so take them with meals, don't drink alcohol (with Flagyl, you will feel horrible) and wear some sunscreen outdoors.
