Can I take motorcycle(moped) road test with scooter? NY?

I'm gonna take motorcycle road test but I don't know how to ride manual motorcycle. And I'm not gonna ride any manual motorcycle. I just need a license for 125cc scooter. Can I take the road test with scooter in New York?

you can take your road test with any 2 wheeled, regisrered, insured, and inspected motor vehicle with over 5 bhp (horsepower) and max speed above 30 mph. scooters are perfectly acceptable.

yes you can, i took my roadtest on a yamaha vino 125 cc bout 3 weeks ago and passed.

just make sure you bring someone with a motorcycle license and car license  and a registered/insured car.
