Can I take my eye prescription and buy glasses at another store without getting my eyes examined again?

I went to my eye doctor and got a full eye exam. It was really expensive and the frames there are really expensive. I was just wondering if I asked for a copy of my prescription, if i could take it to wal-mart or lenscrafters and order prescription glasses from there since they are cheaper but without getting my eyes examined again??

Yes u can it will be a lot cheaper just make sure that the lenses are the same as the prescription. good luck hope u get a nice pair.

yes you can take your prescription to any dr and they will fill it for you and get you more frames and or ones that yoyu are willing to pay for.

you can take them anywhere without a new eye exam because it has recently been done.

yes I do it all the time, infact, I've even ordered them on line, and they are really inexpensive., you just give them the specks(no pun intended) off your perscription....... good luck
