Can I take my vibrator on holiday?

I have a vibratering bullet and I want to take it away with me on vacation, but am scared it will set off the metal detectors or get mistaken for something worse in my case because of the shape. (it looks like a bullet). What should I do?

I'm going with my Dad and his partner so if we get stopped it would be embarrassing. Will I get stopped?

You will be fine.  Trust me, you are not the first person to fly with an adult toy.  If you get stopped at the security checkpoint the screener will ask to look in your bags to verify what the item is.  They are trained to be discreet and to avoid embarrassing you.  

And if anything does happen, just laugh it off and say, "What, like you've never pleasured yourself before!"

All I got to say is check in luggage. Nothing could be more embarrassing. Vibrators use tiny motors that could be scrutinized. Yes do take the batteries out. All vibrators should have their batteries removed after use so that they last a long time. anything metallic will be subject to close scrutiny by airport officials.  

i suggest that you pack this with your check-in luggage, that way, you don't have to hand carry it.

You won't have any trouble if you put it in your checked-in luggage.

If you have to put it in a cabin bag, take the batteries out and put them in a different part of the bag.
