Can I take oral clindamycin during my period?

I am about to start my period in a few days and yesterday was prescribed with Clindamycin (oral). I was wondering if I would be able to start taking the medicine today or if it's safe to take the medication before my period starts and during my period. Thanks :o)

You should be ok with taking it now during your period but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
