  1. It may be hard but I'm going to try. He has never done anything to our child or my other child but he has hit me. So before I give him the chance to hit my children, I want him to give up his rights. I asked him to sign his rights, he doesn't want to. I refuse to put him on child support so what other choice do I have, but to have his rights waived.

  2. Are you serious? NO you cant! Not unless he has done some serious abuse on your child. Why would you want to do this..I wish you would have given more information. I think its horrible that someone would want to take their child away from their dad! You need to think twice about this. Your child may hate you later for this.

  3. Take him to court and get a court ordered judgment.  You'll need to have grounds for taking away the rights (such as he is a bad father...)

  4. The court can do it very simply, but the court is very unlikely to change current or standing rights/visitation unless there is very obvious abuse or addiction problems.

  5. if he doesn't agree, you have to just forget it. you can not make him sign his rights to his child away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
