I am staying in a town near La Rochelle, in Charente-Maritime, at the moment; and want to visit a friend in Passy... is that possible?

  1. Sure, it's called a train. You take a train to Le Fayet and then a coach (company SAT Mont Blanc) to Passy. Here is a site for booking a seat on the train.

And here is the site of Passy

  2. Yes it exists. Ther's a train thats goes from Bordeaux to Geneve in Switzerland. It stops near the Alpes and then you should rent a car. You'll have to spend more or less 7hours in the train, because this train do not goes right to paris... d**n it.
