Can I take sleeping pills with a sore throat?

I have quite a bad sore throat and am not sleeping.

Should it be ok to take sleeping pills tonight to help me? The pill contains 50mg of Diphenhydramine HCI.

  1. Totally fine... Since sleeping gets difficult when we are sick, some meds for sore throat and cough have components that make you sleep...
