Can I take the ACT and the SAT?

I would like to take both, is that possible?

  2. of coarse you can. that's what i'm going to do. just in case my sat scores aren't too good. but most colleges prefer the SAT because it's much more difficult than the ACT.

  3. Yes, you may take both...most colleges require one or the other...figure out where you would like to apply, and then take whichever test you need...

    My son took SAT's as a junior earlier this year, and he did not select any schools to report scores to...which you probably don't want to do until you see how well you do...

    but, if you are confident, you can select up to three (I think) to get the scores...if you name the schools when you fill out he application, there is no extra charge to report the scores...

    if you wait, like my son did, it will cost extra to have the College Board forward the scores...
