Can I take these things as carry on items?

Question

I know you can only bring one carry on bag filled with whatever you want as long as it meets airline security regulations but i was also wondering if you could bring that plus a fleece blanket and 2 pillows or atleast 1 pillow?

i'm flying to phoenix arizona from maine with my aunt and uncle because i'm moving in with my aunt and uncle that live in chandler arizona and they are coming up for my graduation june 7th than leaving june 16th [im going with them]. the plane they are taking leaves maine [eastern time] at 530pm [plus you wait 30 minutes or so on the plane before take off] then we connect through newark or new york airport [i coudln't tell which one my mom said]. i have no idea how long the delay or whatever is that you have to wait at the airport for your flight to arrive but i assume it can't be too long. once the plane gets us it will take around 4 hours to get to phoenix.

i was going back to school, soI brought a duffel bag with my clothes.. and it was a long flight.. so I brought a pillow along with me, they didn't care, and they let me on.

I saw some guy with a huge carry on and a huge box with a desktop computer or something.

I'm pretty sure there won't be problems.
