Can I take video clips from?

If I have a dvd can I put it into my laptop and take clips from it and put those clips in to a video on movie maker???? If I can how do I do it?

Windows Movie Maker can't edit DVD footage and I'd be wary about using a mini DVD in a laptop - it certainly won't work with a slot loading drive and I'm not sure about the type where you fix the disk on a spindle!!  If you can read the mini DVD most commercial editors can edit it.

DVD maker. Open import movie in import/capture. Or any other device that allows "import/capture"

Download and install a DVD ripper like HandBrake...
