I'm completely out of stamps and don't want to run into town to get some. I need to mail a bill....can I tape coins to the envelope to pay for the stamp through USPS? I've taped a penny on there before and had no problems....just wondering if anyone has tried this for the full value of the stamp.

Sorry if this is the wrong category....I couldn't find a more suitable one on browse.
