Can I technically call a person who is the "cousin of the husband of MY cousin", my "cousin-in-law"?

  1. I don't think so. You would sound foolish if you tried to pull it off. Just tell people that this person is the cousin of YOUR cousin's husband. Who is it?


  2. I would just refer to them as your cousin's husband, I think cousin in-law implies your spouse's cousin.
