Can I text Australia on a pay-as-you-go mobile?

I need Info. on exact procedure to make a call to new south wales.

You probaly can, but the price might be a lot more than your usual text messages. The best thing to do is check the website of your service provider and they should have the info there. I had an extra package put on my phone so I could text outside the country but different networks vary so much.

Just try. Type your message and send it to the number. If will either work or it wont. For dialling codes directory enquiries should be able to help you.

Well Australians can text overseas on our pre-paid mobiles.

Either way if your doing so from a mobile its the same, but its different from a land line.
