Can I transfer an H-1B just by the EAC number?

The H-1B was just approved and to be started from Oct 2008. The applicant company made a revocation. How much time I can have for this?

Sorry to hear about this. If your American employer had revoked your H-1B petition, then it means that you cannot transfer H-1B, and cannot use this visa to enter the USA because your job offer was rescinded, and you cannot work for that employer. Even if you decide to come to USA and will be admitted in the airport, you will not be able to transfer H-1b to another employer.
