Can I transfer my tesco clubcard points onto my husband's clubcard?

I have had a tesco clubcard for a couple of years now and have accrued 40000 points (£40). However I have NEVER received any vouchers. Every quarter I ring up and they say somebody has ticked the box that i have left the scheme and is difficult to remove - however they always promise it will be sorted by the next quarter and surprise surprise it isn't. Ive phoned them until im blue in the face - getting annoyed now - so i got one for my husband and started again but feel robbed after collecting on mine for so long!!

  1. complain to them in a written letter and let them know how many times you have tried to get this amended to the point where you no longer want to shop with them- nectar give out their points far more easily etc.

I would also follow this up with a phone call- but as a complaint not as a query.

I did this after missing 1400 points from my club card for extra vouchers that never turned up. The problem got resolved there and then on the end of the phone, after 4 previous phone calls in 5 months.

I was then emailed an voucher- not perfect but better then nothing at all. I would hope that if its a ticked box ike that, they should easily be able to transfer your points and account to any other card- so you could even get your own card, then call then to tell them you have a new card and wish for the vouchers each quarter, not to save them.

  2. *lose* it - then tell them. Eventually you will get the points transferred to your new card via the address!

  3. sorry no you cant

  4. Despite what others have said, I think the answer is yes, maybe. Because my husband and I started off with 2 cards but then asked if we could amalgamate them. This was done straight away and his points transferred to my card when his was cancelled. Only thing is this was Tesco's in Ireland and it was 10 years ago. But I see no reason why they can't do it for you if you ask nicely.

  5. You could merge your accounts, my wife and I have our own clubcards, but we only get one statement between us!
