Can I transfer one Gold's Gym membership to another Gold's Gym?

I am moving (unexpectedly) from one town to another (over 3 hrs away). I have a pre-paid membership to Gold's until August 15 here, and I was wondering if it is possible to transfer it to the gym where I am moving - or even a discount, so that I do not have 2 membership to the same chain of gyms.

I'm not sure if you can transfer since most Gold's Gyms are independant franchises. I do know that since you are moving more than 50 miles away there is a clause in the contract that allows you to break it. Then you are free to join the Gold's in your new community. However, I have found that all Gold's are not equal and it's important to check out the one in your new community to make sure it has what you want. Also, the membership rates will vary.

I suggest that if you can't able to transfer that membership , then , go back ( return ) to your last town.
