Can I transfer pictures back to my memory card and view them through my camera again?

I know I can transfer pics back to the card, but I can't view them through the camera. Is there someway of converting them to a format that the camera recognizes again?

The camera's only going to look in the folder that it thinks it owns, so that's going to be in the one named after the camera inside the DCIM folder. You may also have trouble with modified photos, unusual names, and formats the camera won't recognize... depends on the camera. They really weren't meant to work 'backwards' like that.
