I was wondering if I could carry alcohol bottles in my checked in luggage on a flight from the Netherlands to Canada?

Will they appear on the x-ray scanner?

  1. Yes of course you can.

Just make sure you read what the limits are for transporting the liquor into Canada. You will only be allowed to bring a certain amount in.

  2. They may make you drink it at the airport before boarding !

They have alcohol in Canada, in case you didn't know, including most of the Dutch beers.

  3. yes it will and i suggest you dont because they are cracking down harder than ever. You can barely bring tooth paste on the planes

  4. if it's glass, make sure you bubblewrap it good.  carry extra tape just in case airport personnel want to look at the bottles.  also, if you purchase alcohol from the duty-free shop at the airport, you should have no problem at all.
