Can I trust Edinson Volquez today in my fantasy league?

Question

its a head to head league and the score is tied 5-5 its really close and i know edinson hasnt done welll and hasnt been consistent lately,

so...should i start him or just leave him on the bench???

I say start him. You're right that he's been inconsistent since the break, but I think he'll finish strong. I'm starting him on my roto league team, but then again I'm in 5th place (out of 12) so what do I know?

start him today? no,  he is at home, which isnt the best park for any pitcher and he is facing a hot cardinals lineup that pounded 9 runs yesterday on 4 homeruns. but he is a good,  but i say keep him on the bench for todays game.

I would start him. I have Volquez in my H2H league and sometimes I question him after his performance after the All-Star break. Volquez's last start was a quality start where he picked up the win so...you shouldn't be afraid to start him. At least he's doing better than teammate Aaron Harang who's been atrocious.
