  1. A healthy Iguana will get orange on it's lets and some stripping on the body, it isn't what color food you give him, it's what you give him. You want to always avoid things like spinach and other calcium reducing greens. But give him good stuff. I love that spring mix, I use it for all my herbivores, you could feed that with some carrot, squash, zucchini, berries, bananas.... and his vitamins. And you will see his color come out.

  2. No but there is a species called a red iguana which is natuarlly red. Dont paint it like someone suggested unless you want a dead iggy. If you must have a red one go and buy it. Dont feed it only red veggies just feed it what its suppost to eat. Feeding it all red veggies isnt healthy for it as it needs variety

  3. if you want to, try it out, i dont think it will work,

but if you dont want to and you feed it red vegies, if it actually does turn red, feed it beck with green veggies, if red veggies dont work in turning him/her red, paint it, my sister tried with her pet lizard, and when it started shedin its skin, it came off

  4. havent heard that before

but flamingos are pink because they eat shrimps that are pink.

  5. not completely red, maybe he will get some streaks of red across his body. Now dont go feeding him just red veggies now. he needs greens too.

  6. why you want it red?   it is designed for green
