  1. Most late model Chrysler products have a BCM (Body control Module) which can be programmed with custom features like automatic door lock when rolling, cancel the chirp, or headlight flash when arming theft system. Unfortunately the dealer usually has the scanner required to do this, so they may charge you a fee to set the preferences, usually not more than 1/2 hour labor.

  2. I'm pretty sure there is a thing in the owner's manual that tells you how to change the settings for the automatic locks

    check it out!

  3. i have never had it done before but it can be done ,but a dealer has to do it, they have to change the program to the way you want it to be at,a friend of mine had his truck done,65 bucks from a dealer and it works the way he wants it too,he didn't like the automatic lock feature either,i dont like mine but i will live with it and not spend that much to get it changed, good luck.

  4. you  dont need the dealer to  reprogram  the setting. in the owners manual there is a section  on where yo u can  change different things.  like only have it unlock one door or  no chirp and so on. I have done it on my 03. so I  know it can  be done and not taken to a dealer.
