Can I uninstall BT Broadband temporarily then reinstall it using BT Broadband Talk disc?

Cd's are not really needed to install BT Broadband if you have the hub or other router so there should be no reason why not.

Un-install everything from BT it is just useless garbage,

you do not need it to connect to your home hub.

Yes just go into control panel and uninstall softphone on its own if you want no need to take out the lot.

There's nothing to install or uninstall.  Broadband is the bandwidth of your internet connection, it's not something that gets installed.

You can uninstall all your internet programs, but if you're running Windows, that would rip a lot of Windows itself out, so your computer wouldn't work.

Why would you want to "uninstall broadband" anyway?  It's not like the internet will jump into your computer if you don't.  If you want to uninstall particular programs, just uninstall them.
