Can I uninstall Norton Internet Security?

My laptop came with Norton Internet Security already installed on it, but I have never used the program. Instead, I use AVG Anti-Virus and Ad-Aware. Can I uninstall the Norton program from my system, or will it cause problems?

yes you can if there anyvirus you can not install it  because the anti virus will not protected your computer and your computer will have to format

Go to add/remove programs and uinstall it.  It should be ok, I can't garantee it though, since Norton can stick its fingers in everywhere sometimes.   But next time, if you know you wont be using it when you get the computer, uninstall it right away.

symantec always give freedom to the user. i also used symantec* products.and yes you can uninstall it. if you want more than avg, use norton 360 from symantec. *means norton if you prefer

Yes you can un-install it with no problems.

It won't cause any problems but you will need the Norton Removal Tool to completely remove it. http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsg...

May I also suggest you install SUPERantispyware http://superantispyware.com and ccleaner http://ccleaner.com [this has 2 scans, the ccleaner and registry ones, which you should run daily]

nope it will not give you problem.

start -> control panel -> add/remove program or uninstall program -> uninstall norton internet security.
