Can I uninstall and re-install my Ipod????

I recently restored my 30GB Ipod Video because it was freezing, thus erasing all my songs. However everytime I try to sync my Ipod back to my Itunes to retrieve my 1800 songs, it only sycs 30 or 40 songs then a blue screen appears on my computer causing me to shut down. This happens everytime. I thought the problem was in itunes so i uninstalled and re-installed it, but the same thing kept happening. Should I un-install and re-install my iPOD? If so, how?

  1. To uninstall and re install your ipod take it to the store you bought it too. They will fix it for you. Just tell them My ipod isn't syncing all my songs. I had same problem with my 4GB.

  2. restore it on itunes and then sync it over again

  3. yes, and the same thing recently happend with my ipod touch.

    1) plug your ipod into your computer.

    2) click on your ipod's summary (its right under the itunes store).

    3) towards the right-hand side, there should be a button that says 'restore'.

    4) follow all those instructions, and even if it says your songs will be erased off of your ipod, still press continue.

it WILL NOT erase them off of your itunes library, just your ipod.

let your ipod fully restore before you unplug it.

hopefully that will work for ya.

    good luck!

and if you have any other questions about your iPod/Mac/iTunes, feel free to email me.

*never jailbreak or download illegal songs for your ipod. it voids your warranty and will give your computer viruses.*
