It's Hartz brand, the kind that comes in a tube and you squeeze the drops onto the back of the neck.

She's pretty far along, ready to pop.

Can I use these on her safely?

  1. Check with your Vet, they should be able to answer this question on the phone. be safe.

  2. OMG OMG OMG!!!!

DO NOT USE HARTZ, I REPEAT DO NOT USE HARTZ!!!!!!

My sister's cat died from it, it was really sad, so have thousands of other animals.

Please please please do not use it on your poor pregnant kitty...please.

    You need Advantage!

But not until the kittens are born.

  3. NO! You should just return the flea treatment to wherever you got it from, HARTZ is c**p... it may be cheaper than advantage or frontline, but them two are your best bet on treating your cat for fleas, while pregnant or lactating. Frontline and advantage both work very well, they are about 15$ a tube (here anyways) and you put it on the same as you do with hartz, and if the mom has kittens, and they are nursing from her, its still safe, it will ALSO kill the fleas on her babies just with them being near her! its worth it, trust me.

**Haha, I just realized i said the same thing as J C almost lol, well i guess its really proven then. good luck
