  1. No, you don't want to use AJAX because it's not for washing clothes. Just use liquid bleach, such as Clorox in the wash. It also helps to let the clothes agitate for a few seconds, then let them soak for a while. I let mine soak for about 30 minutes, especially if the clothes are dingy.

  2. No as it is a kitchen and bathroom cleaner, and i would say that it would ruin your clothes, if you are going to use anything use bleach, but you can't put it into your machine, so just soak then in cold water with some bleach in it.

  3. Just use bleach to bleach your white clothing.

Ammonia or baking soda paste helps on stains.

  4. I never tried it before but, use baking powder in your wash and that will work for you.

  5. i use dishwashing powder made for a dishwasher in my whites. If you add a half of scoop to your wash and let it soak for about an hour your dingy whites come out brite.  I learned this from a parent during football season one year when our boys had white football jersey pants. You know how nasty these pants can get?  It cleans them as if they never had dirt on them before good luck.
