Can I use Baby Oil on a katana?

I don't have choji oil and it's almost the same thing as baby oil. I was wondering if I can use Baby Oil.

I would use what was made for it - choji oil, which is basically clove oil. It's what swordsmen use for a reason. Others don't protect as long or as well.

No using baby oil is not a good idea. Baby oil is mineral oil. The Choji oil is clove oil.  Better to use the correct oil if you have a katana worth taking care of.  

Caution:  what ever you do never, ever put 3 in 1 oil on a katana. It will do damage to the blade.
