  1. As long as it is a credit AND debit card, you should be fine.  i worked for Chase, and still have my Freedom card.

  2. Certainly you can use it for gas.  In some cases (like California) you may need to enter the zipcode of your billing address.

I don't even get or know the PIN of my credit cards, so I do not accidentally use them at an ATM by mistake (1 credit card looks just like my debit card).

  3. if you run it as credit, it wont need your pin.

  4. yes you can use.

  5. You shouldn't be using a credit card for a gas purchase.  You're running up high-interest debt on an expendable with nothing to show for it besides paying more for your fuel than the pump price.  Even if you pay your balance in full every month, you're going to end up in a situation, sooner or later, where you can't pay the balance in full, and carry a balance for a month or two.  Now you're not only paying for your gas, but you've just given yourself the privilege of paying interest on that fuel.  If you want convenience at the pump, use your debit card.
