I found this recipe to make instant fufu on youtube and one of the ingredients is potatoe starch and I havent been able to find it n e where(ive checked a grocery store called Freshway, walmart, ingles, and Krogers)

If i can use the cornstarch as a substitute do i use the same amount as i would the potato starch or more?

what about potato flour?

the traditional way is too complicated for me.

  1. The  best  time  to  get  Potato  starch  is  around  Easter  Season.  I  get  mine  at  Krogers  in  the  Jewish  section  of  the  store.  Or  you  can  ask  the  manager  about  where  the  p/s  is  located...  it  is  much  better  than  cornstarch.  Once  you  use  it,  you'll  want  it  instead  of  cornstarch.  It's  not  expensive  either.

  2. hey my parents are Nigerian and they use potato flour. If you don't like it ther is always gari

  3. I think it would be alright to substitute in the same amounts.
