  1. There are no slots for PS1/PS2 memory cards on the PS3. You can create virtual memory cards on the PS3's hard drive, and then copy your game saves to it using a Playstation Memory Card Adaptor:

  3. I have all three systems it is possible only with an adapter and sony memory cards. if you have some third party memory cards do not work and if they are over a certain size i hear the adapter will not work also the adapter is a waste of money buy it use it take it back get your money back.

  4. They will but you need to buy a memory card adapter.

    However, if you want to play new PS2/PS1 games that are not on a memory card yet, you will not need one. The PS3 can make internal PS1/PS2 memory cards. But memory card adapters are handy if you want to bring your old save data over.
